Understanding Breast Surgery
If you find a lump in your breast, this can be very scary. You likely have lots of questions about what it means, and what can be done about it. At Middlesex Surgical Associates, we provide testing, detailed consultations, and a variety of treatments for benign or malignant breast lumps. Our doctors will give you comprehensive information about the size, location, and complexity of breast tissue. We will work with you to develop a treatment plan based on the results.
About 80% of breast lumps are NOT cancerous, and the best thing you can do is be seen by an expert as soon as possible to get further information.
What Patients Say
“I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and needed treatment. After my first appointment I was very impressed with Dr. Nayomi. She made me feel very comfortable and took away a lot of the fears someone has when they hear they have breast cancer. The appointment was very thorough and Dr. Nayomi explained my cancer and the options available. She also told me which procedure she felt would be most beneficial for me.
Before my procedure, Dr. Nayomi was very kind and calming. I had no fears going into surgery. The rest of the hospital staff was also wonderful. Everyone answered any questions that I had.
My progress since my procedure has been wonderful. As a result of my surgery, I eat healthier, walk every day with my dog, and do yoga three times a week. I feel great! Thanks to my awesome doctors at Middlesex Surgical Associates, and very caring hospital staff.”
“She is the best! I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35 and Dr. Cornell was the one I trusted with my life… She brought out the fighter in me and answered every question I had with patience. Her knowledge is beyond outstanding.”
